What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Dainty and very pretty.

Need to spend some time turning out some quilting motifs for this project file.

Not quite as pretty as the fist one, more in need of some quilting motifs.

If ever I get all the unfinished projects, and the planned projects, finished, I will be making quilts with some low contrast fabrics like the designs in this project file.

The blocks started as an attempt to draw some ribbons tied in bows. I finished up with very formal ribbons! I forgot about them for some time, went back into the file some time later and started playing with them and decided I liked them, even of they were not really what I wanted.

I combined the rigid looking ribbon bows with a single bed shape and size as I have almost always designed square virtual quilts.

Noting like trying something a bit outside my comfort zone to learn.

Very busy!

The second design looks less busy, maybe because there is more background showing. The border also looks lighter with more blocks with lighter background.
